Such good thoughts. We have ticking clocks, too, and when our daughter comes to visit, she turns them off – says they keep her awake at night. Funny how you get accustomed to your surroundings and take them for granted. Sometimes you need a reminder of the value of something, and this was a great reminder of the value of each second God gives us.
