Winter is a time of the playoff games. I don’t mind football, and I will follow my team. I do love the playoff games though. I like the excitement and the noise.
Hubby will sit and watch all the playoff games. I will sit with hubby, usually occupying myself with my laptop or a book. Yes, that is how I watch the playoff games, I half watch them.
Today, we are watching the Chargers game. I have had a running discussion with my oldest about this team since she was old enough to pick a favorite team. I will freely bad mouth them. I can’t help myself. It’s not that I dislike them, I just like to give her a hard time about her favorite team.
For some reason, today, nostalgia has covered me like a blanket. I have mentally been transported back to our place in San Diego. I can feel what it was like to have our oldest in our living room, screaming at the television, and sometimes at her Dad. I can smell the dinner in the oven and remember the snacks that would be carried out to the living room.
Those were fun times. So, today, I sit in a quiet living room, watching the game and giving my daughter a hard time via Facebook. Some things never change.

I watch football the same way you do…with my laptop open. Actually, I get most of my blogging done during Sunday football games :]
any more my laptop is open all the time. if we watch a movie we will wonder who an actor is, and then I start to look them up, then I end up looking up trivia about the movie or t.v. show… it’s an awful habit of mine. We more or less listen to the t.v.. Glad I am not alone though. you feeling okay? how’s the little one?
Ya, I have to watch myself with technology or I’ll be checking things on the internet all the time. We are total junkies for trivia about people and movies so I get that :]
I feel really good! Thanks for asking. I’m in the 2nd trimester now and I already feel better than I did for the 1st. We get to find out what we’re having in just about a month…very excited about that! :]
